  1. CUSTOM WINDOWS 3.0 BACKGROUNDS!

  4. Now you can customize your desktop with a BMP of your
  5. choice!  For those not familiar with windows and your
  6. desktop, the desktop is the part of the screen "underneath"
  7. your windows. You can change the desktop to one of several
  8. picture included with Windows, or add your own.

  11. To change your desktop,  click on the control panel icon.
  12. You will then see a desktop icon.  Click on the desktop
  13. icon, and you will see several options, including adding a
  14. pattern and changing the "wall paper".  The wall paper
  15. option controls what your desktop displays.  Clicking on
  16. this option will display the choices of "BMPs" in the
  17. windows directory.

  20. To display, place it in the Windows directory,
  21. and select it as the BMP to display.

  26. Now you can have your favorite picture made into a BMP for
  27. display on your Windows desktop.
